Just a brief note about what this site is about.  My name is Stephen & I’m an up and coming fitness freak! I’ve lead a pretty healthy lifestyle over the years, but more recently I’ve seen my stomache bulging more than it should :( . so, …

I’ve been trawling the web for information on how to get myself back into shape. Whilst on that quest I came across a great deal of information, a lot of it is excellent, but a high proportion is not quite so good. As I run a few web sites as a hobby I thought I’d gather together the best of the articles and put them in one place - hence, this site was born!

At the time of writing (summer of 2009) I’ve lost 9 lbs. by following various tips I’ve learnt from the many sources available – I’m not following any specific plan and I’m not starving myself, I’ve just followed advice that fits in with my lifestyle – if you add a little bit of exercise and a healthy eating regime to your daily routine you can become (and feel)  fitter and healthier without having to work too hard.
